The Seattle Cuba Friendship group encourages you to learn more about Cuban life and support NWFF by watching this film. Cuba has a thriving arts community that continues to engage in groundbreaking work in spite of the economic hardships they face from the US imposed embargo. The individuals featured in this film lived through the devastating effects of the "special period" of extreme economic depression during the 1990s. This time in their lives continues to impact them to this day. We are looking forward to learning more and enjoying the stunning visuals.
